Is it safe for my dog or cat?
Yes. Dogs and cats do not react to the frequency range used by PestCalm. Do not use it in a room where small rodent pets live, such as hamsters, guinea pigs or rabbits, because they can hear it.
Is it safe around children?
Yes. There are no chemicals, no poison and no moving parts. It plugs into a standard outlet like a night light.
Can I hear it?
No. The frequency is above the range of human hearing. Some people with very sensitive hearing report a faint buzz when standing right next to the unit.
How many do I need?
One per room you want covered. Ultrasound does not travel through walls, doors or furniture. Most homes start with a 2-pack for the kitchen and the garage, basement or attic, then add units for other floors.
How long before I see results?
Most customers report a change within 2 to 3 weeks. Activity can briefly increase in the first days as pests are disturbed. Keep the unit plugged in continuously.
Does it work on every pest?
PestCalm is designed to deter mice, rats, roaches, spiders, ants and similar pests. Results vary by species, home layout and infestation level. It is a deterrent, not a replacement for professional extermination in a severe infestation.
Does it work outdoors?
No. It is designed for indoor use only.
What voltage does it use?
Standard US outlets, 110 to 120 V, with a US plug.
How fast is shipping?
Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and delivered in 4 to 7 business days with tracking. Shipping is free on every US order. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
What if it does not work for me?
You have 30 days from delivery to try it. If you are not satisfied, email support@pestcalm.com and we will refund you in full.
